I don't ever wear makeup because of how it feels (itchy, heavy, oily). This is none of those things. The sparkles are of the proper size - big enough to be seen even at night, but not too big. It does transfer but I wouldn't think it transfers more than any other product. I can't say anything about the "dewy" claim. I have dry skin. I applied several little drops and used a regular makeup sponge to pat it around. You can even wet the sponge to spread it around after.
