    Long and strong but needs a centre support

Very long (or can be) and what I liked was that BOTH ends have an extendable bit this making it much sturdier than other rods which only extend from one end.That said, and even though we only extended each end by about 15cm, it definitely needed a centre support to stop it sagging. You can't beat the laws of physics, I guess.It's up now, with a centre support which is a large 50mm cup hook (pretty much hidden by the net curtains), and it looks fab.

Ideal solution for hanging a net curtain without making holes in the wall or window frame. It seems surprisingly strong and would probably hold a lightweight curtain if you didn’t want to draw it very often, e.g. to cover an alcove. It was easy to adjust to the required width, just a bit tedious unscrewing it. The spring is strong and it was a bit fiddly getting it into place without marking the wall, but that means it stays firmly in place.

Different make sent, to what is advertised, mild steel and not aluminium. Seller adamant that the item is aluminium and to send back expected buyer to pay postage. Item was refunded but only after complaint.
