When the bar is tilted up, I can really feel it working my neck and chin, which is why I bought it in the first place. It doesn't have hands-free operation if you want to use it correctly. You'll need to position the metal bar in order to get the best workout for the area of the face you're trying to target. Tilted up, it works your lower face and jaw/chin. Tilted down, it works your upper cheeks. And just used horizontally it gives a decent face workout overall, but I didn't like using it this way. It felt awkward, like it was stretching my cheeks too much. When using it, just purse your lips and hold for a few seconds. And voila, you'll feel the burn. And I know--it has been said that "spot training" doesn't work--but I beg to differ. Maybe that is true if you're overweight. If you're very overweight, you probably won't see any difference from using this. But if you're not, and you're just not blessed with a naturally slim face and neck, I bet you will. Please desertcart, put this back in stock! I hope they still make it... I'll update when I see results, regardless of the fact that desertcart may never stock it again. I just couldn't use it for too long and less often because it was irritating one of my teeth that it was rubbing against. My sister bought one too and we literally do it together watching a movie, texting on our phones or doing chores. This is a great device, hands down! 2. We must use face cream ANYTIME we do any kind of facial exercises to prevent fine lines from forming (as you strngthen muscles). 3. Let your intuition guide you as you slowly focus on stregthening muscles, if you think you're exercising the wrong section o f cheeks, make a change. . 4. I can see by shining light on the side of my face that this is definately filling in my aging "hollows". If I stop using it, I can a lapse in the appearance of my taughter/stronger under-support to my skin. 5. You can adjust this to where you place it on the inside of your cheeks, watch slowly in the mirror -- is that the area you want to work out? In closing, I give this 5 stars! because it is a great product.
