Review: YUM - First I am in no way a typical fan of protein bars, I usually waste money buying them only to take a bite and not finish it. I have been on a carb restricted diet since July and these were a hit for myself and my husband. He prefers the peanut butter but I prefer the chocolate! Both are a fantastic little "pick me up" or way to curb a sweet craving.
Review: Nice find, good tasting and truly keto - Great find, pleasantly surprised. I am trying to live on a keto diet which calls for a low carb and higher fat content in order to burn fat for fuel instead of sugar. Simply put, I am looking for low carb options with a higher fat to carb ratio; however, most of the items advertised as "keto" at my local grocery stores do not meet that goal and are not truly keto. I'm starting to get tired of the small selection at my local grocery stores that I have found that have 12-20 grams of fat and 7-10 grams of carbs. So I searched the web for items that would meet my needs and found desertcart sold these. So I took a chance and bought them. The texture is smooth with a little crunch, and the caramel flavor is good. I only have 2 complaints. One, they are small for the price, but they meet my fat to carb criteria. My other complaint is these were delivered on a warmer spring day (temps in the 80s), and my bars sat on the porch for 2 hours before I got home. They had melted a little, and going forward, I will only buy these during the fall & winter timeframe to ensure no melting.
