In my case one chair price quoted was $135 and the cost of all fabric and batting is about 10-12% of that. Note that it includes both the sit and the back of the chair. I did not replace padding that is in decent condition. I did overbought the materials because even with the extra quantity it is still, in total, 4 chair material price is a half of the price quoted by the shop for a single chair.
