For years (15-20) I Have been buying this brand and have always been very happy with it. The stuff I got is horrible. Remove the outer wrap and it's full of an red oily substance that get everywhere, hard to handle. Removing the inner wrap and it's just as bad. The red oily stuff gets all over your hands, difficult to hold and cut, very messy. The use by date is Dec 2025, so maybe it has been in storage a very long time?? The taste is not quite what I use to get, but still eatable. I'm guessing the problem is it was stored some place not cool and the oils weeped out. EDIT: I checked the remaining Pepperoni sticks and the use by dates were all OCT 2025 so the problem looks like they were just getting old and should have been sold a long time ago and MAYBE improperly stored.. The seller has reached out to me and offered me a FULL Refund of $44.14, my total cost for the items. It's nice to see a seller that actually stands behind what they sell. Review: Great taste.
