I love the form factor, and It seems like an excellent larger companion to my 4.7” phone, while still being smaller and lighter than my 8” tablet. I was very excited to finally receive this item (after the first one I got was just a poorly taped together, and painfully empty box). However… Sadly, it seems all manufacturers have agreed that anyone wanting a 7” tablet cannot possibly be wanting to do anything even remotely serious with it. I guess today's fashion dictates everything must be massively large to be taken seriously. The paltry innards will eventually open most things, just don’t expect them to do so willingly or with any kind of sense of urgency. My 3 year old phone is still several times faster. Everything is painfully slow on this tablet. That is, everything except draining the battery, which is done with surprising expediency, even when plugged in. This is unfortunately reversely matched by the extravagant sluggishness with which it charges. I really wanted to like this device, but the inefficiency just made it too painful to use. I have sold it on, and ordered the more expensive 7” Xiaomi Mi Max 3 instead.
