While it could stand to have more unit pieces, especially if you don't follow historic strategy, it' a great game. The board is huge, which I like a lot. This board game Axis and Allies has become an American Classic board game. We have played numerous versions of this game....1942.2 is by far the worst edition, when considering, incorrect rule book, misspellings, no battle board, incorrect setup cards....the list goes on. However.... This anniversary edition is by far the best through out. Very nice!! More thought went into this edition, and dare I say I would consider this edition the new Standard especially for Tourny's. I own both versions 1942.2 and this...I will probably never play the 1942.2 again.
