It took about that long for me to see a definite improvement in hair growth. I was losing hair toward the front near my forehead, and used it on that spot of my scalp using about eight pumps. I gently massaged it in each time. The scent is pleasant also. The only reason for four stars instead of five, is that I find it to be a bit on the runny side, so when you pump it onto your scalp, have a tissue ready to catch any drips on your face. I now bought another one since I am very pleased with the results.
