Shade Paste reduces the temperature and the passage of light in greenhouses and conservatories. The effect decreases after 2 months depending on sunlight and rainfall. It doesn't attack aluminium, glass polycarbonate of wood. Rate of Mixture: 1 part Shade Paste for 2 parts of water. - Application: Apply with a paint roller, brush or sprayer. - Coverage: Shade Paste covers approximately 45 square metres per 0.75L. - Storage: Frostfree - Shelf Life: 12 Months from opening the can. - This paste is used in the same way as Coolglass and other similar "whitewash" powders and paints. It is however extremely easy to mix, you simply dilute by adding two parts of water to one part of the paste. It is resistant to rain and sunlight but is designed to last a minimum of around 2 months which generally covers the worst of the summer heat. It is clean, it is environmental, it is easy, it does NOT stain clothing. Simply put, it works.30 minutes to easily paint a 12 x 8 greenhouse.It lasts, it is easy to remove (water and a soft broom work best we have found). Using a lightmeter, it is 50% reflective of strong sunlight (the white fabric is 30-40% effective and 1,200% more expensive per sq. foot).Complaint: The Amazon listing does not help people find it. The key words SHOULD place it on the same search as that white protective shade material or even green shade cloth.
