I have been searching for a specific path of paganism that fit my needs and beliefs and had not yet found it. I asked a friend of mine if he could recommend a book and he asked what deities I followed, which I honestly only had a vague idea and none named to me. I had always had a pull to ancient egypt, for as long as I could remember, and had various dreams about it. He suggested this book and from the moment I started reading it I felt a connection that I have never felt before. Each Lord and Lady resonated, each belief, each tradition. It spoke to me and I instantly began putting these aspects into my craft and already I feel renewed and so much more serene. I highly recommend this book to any who are searching, even if this path isn't for you, its an excellently written read. Ellen Cannon Reed incorporates Ancient Egyptian Gods and Goddesses into modern paganism. With tutorials on how to make a Tameran wand, divination techniques specific to these Lords and Ladies, how to meditate with Them and build a loving and personal relationship with Them, and rich information on SEVERAL of Them in relation to the story of Asar and Aset. My life is better for reading this book and I am now taking what I have learned and making it my own, which I encourage always. Brilliant. I felt this book always portrayed and a DEEPER, more intimate book about connecting with Isis, yet it was just mostly a mirror image if the other book with a variety if information on Egyptian gods and same divination and tool practices as the other book.
