All fittings are individually switched. These slimline light fixtures can be ceiling, wall or under cabinet mounted and are flicker free quick start. Between 8 - 37 fittings can be interlinked (depending on wattage) by butt and/or lead connections. Different manufacturers use different types of power connectors for T4 fittings. Not all connectors are physically compatible with each other. This means that if you purchase T4 fittings from multiple manufacturers, they will not be easily linkable using the supplied link leads. The images above show the plug and socket used in this fitting. The link leads are only physically incompatible, which means that it is possible to make a compatible link lead by using two different connectors from different manufacturers. Ordered on 25/2/14, it arrived by Royal Mail on 27/2/14 securely packed and exactly as specified. As the socket on the fitting was (irritatingly!) a slightly different size from that of the previous failed product, I had to use the new plug provided and wire it into the nearby junction box which was difficult to access. However, I think the new fitting is excellent and the service provided by the supplier, MCD Electrical, could not be faulted - also fair value for money.
