I had old outdated recessed kitchen lighting and hated them. This gives my kitchen and whole new modern look. Gives off wonderful light too. The one thing that I would recommend is buying 6 inch cable ties to secure the cord more securely so the canopy will fit flush to the ceiling. That is the only thing that requires a little work. But I got it. I decided to replace the shades with some ones that I got at Lowes. The cover medalion keeps slipping downward (gravity, ya know?) along the slope of the ceiling, thus, revealing the recessed light trim fixture.
