I treated it once and let it dry for 24 hours, then another layer and waiting another 24 hours to wear it. I did manage to get to test the shoes out a little after this second treatment although I didnt want to test the waterproofness. I am going to just wear them as normal in good weather and see, as the areas of concern are where the sole meets the boot in 2 smaller areas. I have high hopes the other spots I used it will be durable enough until the soles wear out and they have to go to the bin anyways. Easy to use. Thick and easy to apply and keep where I need it. And the tube is big enough for many pairs of shoes and repairs.
