A plus for me is that the seat of the body (the part under the seat cushion) is real fabric, not the flimsy interfacing type stuff IKEA uses. I’m a little confused by the washing instructions- the tag says “Dry clean or spin dry”. Do they mean dry clean or wash and hang to dry?

We bought them as a back up for our chairs, so that when washing one set we can put another on. The quality, fit, and look is exactly the same as our IKEA covers. Would definitely recommend. Unfortunately IKEA decided to discontinue their Ektorp line 2 weeks after we purchased our chairs and covers so we were so thankful to find such great replacement covers.

What a good deal this was! The slipcover fits my Ektorp arm chair perfectly. It was easy to put on and looks great. A plus for me is that the seat of the body (the part under the seat cushion) is real fabric, not the flimsy interfacing type stuff IKEA uses. I’m a little confused by the washing instructions- the tag says “Dry clean or spin dry”. Do they mean dry clean or wash and hang to dry?

Excellent dupes for the Ektorp Chair covers from Ikea. There is literally no difference. The quality is amazing! I bought this faux leather cover for my old Ektorp chair. I wanted something to contrast with my Uppland chair, which has the dark grey cover. This is a great value and a high-quality cover. I would rather it fit a little looser than too tightly. It went on really easily, and I'm very pleased with the look of it. I deducted 1 star because the color appears a more milk-chocolate brown in the photo, and mine is more of a dark chocolate brown. The lighter color that I was anticipating would have matched better with my color scheme, but this is still a great deal. I would have loved a more tan-colored faux leather in case you want any suggestions. I can not speak to washability yet. (Is it washable?) It is wrinkled. I hope the wrinkles will fall out over time.
