The instructions also say to not fill it above the soup max line, however, the bowl it's supplied with doesn't actually have a soup max line (maybe a feature of the German language model and not printed on the English bowl perhaps?). The description of this cookers also says it can "saute meat, make fried rice, steam fish, fry eggs, etc", however nowhere in the instructions does it make any mention of this or give any indication of how to do this. The instructions are a little confusing too, nothing unsurmountable, but definitely not straight forward. The rice cooking function is superb, works exactly as expected and keeps the rice lovely and warm and moist after cooking for hours on end too.
