Has a button on the back handle you can hold to turn the lock off. That way I don't have to get up to answer my door when my kids knock but when I leave, nobody can steal my sodas lol. If you need a door lock this one is perfect. Install was easy, fingerprints were easier to put in than my phone. It feels solid as heck. Loving this door handle especially the key card access instead of my fingerprint.
