The GY-273 module is based on the HMC5883L IC for low-field magnetic sensing with a digital interface for applications such as lowcost compassing and magnetometry. The HMC5883L includes state-of-theart, high-resolution HMC118X series magneto-resistive sensors plus an ASIC containing amplification, automatic degaussing strap drivers, offset cancellation, and a 12-bit ADC that enables 1° to 2° compass heading accuracy. Review: Its not at all what its labled as. - They are labeling this all over the place. Its not a HMC5883L, Its not Even a QMC5883L, Its using a HP chip so I had to use the Library it seems to be QMC5883P for this thing to finally work, I had to find the adafruit library for that. its 2 stars instead of one because after wasting 20 minutes with troubleshooting I finally got it to work, and it does work.

The I2C address is 0x2C, 3. When reading data from the chip it only gives the X coordinate, (Y and Z are 0). I don't know which is the case, if the ICs or these modules are defective. I wasted my money. You, who are reading this: Do you want a good advice? DO NOT buy them.

They are labeling this all over the place. Its not a HMC5883L, Its not Even a QMC5883L, Its using a HP chip so I had to use the Library it seems to be QMC5883P for this thing to finally work, I had to find the adafruit library for that. its 2 stars instead of one because after wasting 20 minutes with troubleshooting I finally got it to work, and it does work.
