My computer blinks orange and green when the battery is completely charged and is still plugged in. The nice thing about lithium batteries is they don't have any charge/discharge memory so you can charge any time you feel like. There are only 4 cells in series in this battery due to small size allowed by computer case so the battery life is not very long. My daughter has a Toshiba laptop that has 9 cells in the battery (3 parallel circuits of 3-in-series), but it is also a bigger battery case.
