It offers automated daily backwashing that reduces maintenance time and water waste, delivering clean, odor-free water ideal for households battling mineral contamination. ## Description The Air Plus Iron Filter system below works with wells with submersible and jet pumps SALT AND CHEMICAL FREE!The Air Plus Air Injection Oxidizing Filter System, as a single tank system, is an efficient and cost effective system for the removal of iron and sulphur. The Air Plus maintains an “air pocket” in the top of the tank while the system is in service. As the water passes thru the air pocket, iron and sulphur are oxidized. Additionally, dissolved oxygen is added to the water. The filter media bed then removes the iron and sulphur from the water.The Air Plus can remove up to 4 ppm Hydrogen Sulfide and up to 7 ppm Iron. A daily backwash will remove accumulated iron and replenish the filter media bed.
