The Milano is better quality hands down! It has a wider band for more coverage and a longer Velcro strip for better sizing. The Velcro strip is also better quality in comparison to the off brand. I know it’s way more expensive, but I purchased this AFTER purchasing the generic version. I just starting using it today and I love it! I have not washed it yet so I can’t speak to how it holds up after being washed. It can’t be any worse than the off brand which will nolonger stick or adhere after washing. I will use it to sleep with so it protect my edges which have been damaged from wearing wigs for so many years.NOTE: I bought the Black one and it was not the same.
