I was disappointed initially because the texture was not what I expected, by the look of it I assumed it would have been thicker, warmer cotton, that could withstand winter weather. This one is more for early spring/fall. Now looking at the description it says "unique cotton blend" it's definitely when cotton and polyester make a baby and the baby takes more from the polyester family lol. I'm 5'8, 180 lbs (female) and the large fits me baggy enough, but I would have still wanted a baggier look I believe an XL would have been more satisfying. Nonetheless I have grown to appreciate it's texture, I love the look and I receive compliments every time I wear it. She pointed out some I didn’t know. Everything from Futurama to Gravity Falls, My Little Pony to Adventure Time. The material is smooth and silky but thick too. It’s not a cotton/fleece material. I live in Florida and it’s great for cool weather and air conditioning. I was really confused by the sizing (it says it’s a children’s size?) so I ordered an XL. In adults I normally wear a small/medium, sowhen I got this I was surprised at how it’s BIG but I just roll up the sleeves. Actually very cozy this way. It’s lightweight, silky soft, and good protection for light rain and winds.Note on sizing: Grandson is 12 years old and 5’8” (tall guy!) and the L/XL fits him perfectly. We actually ordered XL, but when it arrived it has L/XL on the tag, so it might be a little snug in the middle for those with a larger waistline. Although advertised as Men’s, Youth/Young Men sizing is more accurate.
