The beavertails have a more pronounced curve at the top to protect the skin between your thumb and index finger from slide bite. **Q: Would these fit the 19x?** A: That is correct. As long as you order the correct backstrap size these grips are also compatible for the 19X. **Q: How difficult is this to remove?** A: Heat up the grip with a blow dryer and it should come right off. Use some alcohol to clean off any glue residue and it’ll be back to new. **Q: If i want to dremel off the finger groves on my gen 4 would this be a good fit?** A: Correct. The fit may be a little off after you've removed the finger grooves, but a Gen5 grip would be best for a flat frontstrap area.
