Yes it is stiff, but not like a board. You can still manipulate it how you need it but it’s stiff enough that it stays put and completely covers your windshield. I drive a 2016 Toyota Camry and it fits just as it should. Now I’m considering buying one for my back windshield and looking for one for my boyfriend’s Subaru! Worth the price for the quality 100% ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ultimate UV reflector *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 3, 2020* This heatshield is amazing at keeping your vehicle from becoming a kiln. Many of my coworkers and friends have noticed a significant decrease in temperature in my car compared to theirs with generic shades and I live in South TX where it usually gets over 100F. There are a couple of things to note however. The Heat Shield is cumbersome to roll up, especially when you have a passenger. You'll have to figure out a way to not smack them in the face when you're putting it away. If you have other devices such as a GPS, cell phone holder or a HUD unit you'll need to take your time when putting it up and taking it down so you don't knock everything over. Your fingers will probably only be able to get halfway through the roll since this thing gets HOT. The size is another thing, there really is no compact way to store the shield. The shield does not a surefire way to stay in place so you'll have to sort of wedge the upper area into the ceiling fabric of your car or use velcro strips to prevent it from falling down. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits like a (tight fitting) glove *by S***. on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 28, 2020* There is good and bad with a product that is custom fit to something else. The good is that it DOES fit the car it was designed for. The bad is that you can't simply slide it in place without bending it or messing with your rearview mirror and anything else attached to it. I have an Excort MAX360 attached via a Blendmount to my rearview mirror and I have to bend the shade around so it will go into place. Once it's in place though, it will stay in place even without lowering the visors. Over time and repeated bends, I'm sure it will lose its rigidity and collapse on itself, but hopefully that timeframe will be years and not months. I'm willing to live with that as long as it blocks the sun from baking the inside of my car.
