Had to use it when we had a power outage that lasted for 6 hours. It really came in handy. It might be small but it's pretty powerful and bright. It's sturdy and built well, all parts are metal/glass so we don't have to worry about a plastic housing. The brightness of the light is variable that we can control just by turning the little knob on the front. Really like lanterns that we don't have to worry about batteries. Haven't drained all the power out of it so not sure how long it takes to fully charge. Regardless, we really like this lantern and will probably get a couple more. They'd make great Christmas presents for family and friends, for camping or just handy to have around during a power outage.
