A few chunks of earwax came out on the first try, so now I know this tool definitely works! I would likely have to go to the doctor to get my left ear checked out. Based on my experience, this will probably work well on less stubborn and softer wax. After I get my left ear fixed, I plan to use this for maintenance so I don’t get impacted ears. I really like the rechargeable battery, which makes it easy to use anywhere without constantly changing batteries. The built-in water temperature sensor is a smart safety feature—it ensures the water is always at a comfortable temperature. Plus, the fact that it’s FSA/HSA eligible is a nice bonus. One thing to note: it works much better if you use an ear wax softener before cleaning. I didn’t get much wax or dead skin out using just the device alone, but after softening the wax for a day or two, it worked much more effectively. My only real complaint is the instructions—they weren’t very clear and could definitely be improved. I had to figure out how to use it through trial and error. Overall, it’s a solid product that does the job well with a little prep.
