This would be a major flaw.** A: STOP! These are NOT REVERSED. You need to simply use a Multimeter on Ohm setting to see that with the GROUND PRONG DOWN, power INTO the RIGHT SIDE of the MALE CONTACTS will "exit" out the LEFT SIDE of the FEMALE OUTLET. Everyone is overlooking that the LEFT SIDE of your extension cord is making CONTACT with the RIGHT SIDE OF THE EXTERNAL POWER JACK. This makes the LEFT of your extension cord REMAIN AS THE LEFT of the "new" inside pigtail outlet. These are NOT WIRED WRONG, people just do not understand. If you simply make a LOOP OF THIS and plug it INTO ITSELF, you will see the LEFT SIDE of the female cord plugging into the RIGHT SIDE OF THE MALE CONTACTS exactly as it NEEDS TO BE. **Q: Does the flap have the little tag on it to help open it or does it not have it? Not all pictures show the tag on the flap.** A: The one that I bought from amazon has the flap on it to assist with opening.
