I live in a very small place and this is the best way that I have found to organize my grand daughters stuffed animals, which she has lots of. It holds at least 23 animals with no problem.At first, I was a bit skeptical. However, once I found a way to hang it. I used hooks. I have not had any problems with the net. Have had a hook pulled out on occasion but the net has held up wonderfully.As for washing, I have only washed it once on the gentle cycle and laid flat to dry.
