The description did not identify whether this bible had gilt edges and so it was a nice touch to find out that it did upon opening. Just the biblical text and a large enough font making reading easy but compact enough to carry around. I have many English translation Bibles but this is my regular use one. It's an accurate translation, not quite as accurate as the Concordant version but more so than the NIV but it has maintained the best balance between accuracy and readability.
