Is this normal?** A: I tried to write my review but it wouldn’t let me. I had the same experience. I almost caused severe damage to my 13year old. The handle got incredibly hot and smelt like it was burning and gave off awful fumes. **Q: How is it safe to use this in a microwave since you can't use metal in them? Is it not really stainless steal?** A: I can't use it in any microwave I've seen , it s measurements as advertised does not include handle . When you put handle on it , it is too high and can't be used .
