I've used it for everything from food prep to bushcraft and fishing. It holds an edge for a very long time and the handle is super comfortable. My only gripe is the sheath. For the price you pay, it should come with a belt loop or some way to carry it but it doesn't. Also, the little tab you have to press to unsheath the knife feels like it may break after a hundred uses or so.
