God is interested in every area of our lives, the Popcak's remind us to bring it all to God in prayer. The Popcak's share some of their toughest struggles and how prayer helped them through. Both of these things kept the book real.They deal with the spouses who are on the different pages spiritually, and often it is not a problem of differences but of respect.A couple of quotes:"God is not glorified in our denial of reality. He is glorified in our ability to respond to our reality in graceful ways, to face our challenges with confidence, and to bring our best selves to our struggles, so that we can grow through them and, with his grace, overcome them."In the final chapter is powerful statement about nature of our marriages as well as our mission:"Christian marriage is your ministry, both to one another and to the world at large.
