Washed it 3 times and tried it 3 times. Did NOT work as 'spill proof' any time. No use for it as far as that goes. Bought because YETI doesn't make one of their own. I think we are asking for just too much in a lid. ### ⭐⭐ I like the idea but the design needs some work *by D***7 on Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2016* I like the idea but the design needs some work. When hot liquid is in the cup, the steam (pressure) pushes the lid off of the cup. I have to keep releasing the pressure by opening the lid a little more often than I want to sometimes. It is leak proof but you still cannot throw it in a backpack left unattended because of the need to release the pressure. Due to the lack of vent the liquid only dribbles out of the hole. The flip lid does not flip back completely so it gets in the way when taking a drink. My nose hits the lid before I can get anything to drink out of it. It would be great if it was placed in the middle of the lid and opened all the way back and had a vent hole. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Going to get a different one *by A***U on Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2016* Spill proof so far which is good.
