It is NOT a cream; it’s more like a very soft ointment.I personally like the scent; some describe it as peppermint, but I think it’s a bit like mint-y Listerine. It’s mild and smells clean, and if you use it before bed the scent will be gone when you get up.I can’t imagine why someone said it’s not greasy — it certainly IS greasy, because like I said, it’s mostly petrolatum. You will absolutely need to put on some socks after you apply this. The best plan for me was to apply it after a shower and before going to bed. Go easy, because just a little goes a long way.All that said, this will definitely soften your feet, even after just one treatment.
