I have no idea how it works, but it dries a soaking dog in less than 2 hours and she loves wearing it. Photo shows her wearing it for the first time, hence the confused look. She curled up with it on and goes to sleep. The towel comes off, she is dry and, surprisingly the towel is only slightly damp. We call other ‘sausage outfit’ as she looks like a giant sausage when wearing it.Our dog swims in a river a lot and this towel is just perfect!
