Rotella T6 has an extremely low (temperature) pour point, and the Duramax engines are able to build oil pressure quickly no matter how cold it is. Rotella T6 is a true 4-season performer; I run it year round. On a fresh oil change when I'm driving lots during the summer, I'll go up to 20k mile service intervals.
