Then insert the tip of the syringe into the water and pull on the pump until the syringe is filled. Fill the syringe with warm water (about body temperature) Never use too cold or too hot water. Never use the syringe without the "Tri-Stream" tip. Rinsing the ear: Always rinse in a sitting position, with a small bowl under the ear to catch escaping water. The head should be tilted slightly towards the ear. Carefully and completely insert the tip into the ear. To rinse the ear, slowly squeeze the pump. Repeat the rinsing and filling process until the ear is completely rinsed. Clean the syringe and tip thoroughly with warm soapy water after each use. Rinse well and squeeze out the excess water. Air dry. Warning: If you feel dizzy or in pain, stop using it immediately. Do not rinse again without consulting your doctor. I’d been suffering with plugged ears for 2 weeks after a head cold. Home application of ear drops was not clearing my ears and a doctors appointment was 3 weeks away. I was dubious about the effectiveness of anything bought on line, but was so desperate at this stage I was prepared to try. I’m glad I did and it provided instant relief and I can hear again. One ear cleared immediately, the other took a couple of applications but both were cleared within a few minutes. Obviously the fact that ear drops had been used every day in the interim period helped, but I’m sure the wax wouldn’t have been removed without this device.
