The author, Dr. Park Jae-Woo (recently deceased), has spent years ironing out some of the "kinks" in Reflexology, and Su Jok is the result of his research and hard work. Although the book does not provide any information on Dr. Park Jae-Woo's research and the principles are set out in the book in a way that utilizes some of the more mystical ideas of the Orient, it does not take a great deal to ferret out the core of the information and acquire a reasonably good understanding of the underlying principles from the book. And it is worth the trouble. Su Jok appears to work and that remarkably well.What did disappoint me was the rather poor quality of the book itself, including faded print on many pages and a binding that provides little confidence as to the book's durability. As such it gives the feeling of a handyman's bound photocopy.
