I fitted it to a enclosed stack so I would say yes it should be fine for you, hope this helps **Q: My soil stack is on the outside of the house, can this be placed outside but below roof level, providing its still above soil flood level/below sink?** A: No this is not suitable for outside according to the information. You will need one that is made to go outside **Q: Does it fit for 1.5 inches pipe?** A: No it's for 110mm soil pipe(approx 4.5")Hope this helps!!! **Q: What diameter pipe does it fit into?** A: I'm sorry, but I can't remember. However, I installed two of them on the standard nominal 4 inch vertical sewage vent pipes on a 1979 built house protruding from the roof at the same time as the roof was re-tiled. This avoided flashing around a protruding pipe. The FloPlast was a nice tight fit aided by the rubber seals fitted to it.
