American prefer a softer lighter flavor profile. My personla favorite is the rich dark Green that says BOLD on it .slightly bitter. However, the Oolong jasmine has rich profile too without the bitterness. **Q: Does this tea have citric acid as the preserver? Most processed teas in America have citric acid which adds a bitter taste.** A: I buy the tea for my son. I looked on the ingredients label and it says "ascorbic acid" (which is Vit C). Not sure if that is the same or not.
