Wenns in den Urlaub geht, wird das Teil eingesteckt und hängt 24/7 am Strom. Die Batterie wird dann schonen geladen und auf max. Kapazität gehalten. Das Ladegerät schaltet dabei automatisch ab, wenn es nicht mehr gebraucht wird. Wenn eine Batterie mit niedriger Spannung angeschlossen wird, muss das Gerät anfangs ordentlich arbeiten. Dabei wird es auch schon mal etwas wärmer. Ich würde daher empfehlen, in dieser Situation dafür zu sorgen, dass Luft ans Ladegerät kommen kann (nicht unbedingt komplett eng umbauen). Sobald die Batterie dann eine gewisse Spannung erreicht hat, wird der Ladestrom Schritt für Schritt automatisch reduziert und das Gerät kühlt sich wieder ab.
