Probably several hours. Mostly because I didn't want to spend $30 on a pair of leather/pleather covered pieces of foam. I settled on these and after several months I've been pretty happy with them. It's true installing them is a challenge and takes some patience (as were the original pads for anyone who also dealt with those) but the reality is that this is unavoidable. Go to YouTube there are several good videos in techniques for doing the job. Only reason for 4-stars is a very small hole/tear on one where the mesh meets the pad, but honestly I didn't notice it until after attaching them and it could have happened when I put them on. Long story short of your like me and don't want to drop the $30, but don't want garbage, get these and use some care putting them on. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Fit fine, but sound quality compromised *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on December 7, 2016* They fit onto the head phones perfectly, but they padding is a little bit stiff (compared to the originals).I can live fine with all of that, but the worst part is that the sound is muffled. The mesh in the center of the pad (where the sound comes thru) is significantly thicker than the origin Boss mesh and this basically takes all the top end off of the sound quality. Everything sound very bass-y.That is a real shame to, as these headphones were my #1 pair for sound quality before these pad replacements.
