They arrived quickly, they came in a strong plastic resealable bag (surprisingly easy to open and close), they are thick, strong, and pointy! I opened one and stuck it in a couple of pillows with soft and also thick materials. Afterwards I gently 'pricked' my finger...ouch. Pinned some couches, stack of sheets and the mattress and still...ouch. They work fine!
