At least the smell isn't toxic :) Have washed the cower, and placed on a balcony in a sunshine the nursing pillow. Organic smell of the husk lingered away. My daughter and her baby loves this nursing pillow. My daughter thinks that her baby loves to sleep on it after feed, indeed there is a tiny bit of a pleasant organic smell lingering from husk.
