Can someone positively confirm which is correct?** A: My can of Guardsman’s says USA **Q: How long does it take to dry?** A: I followed the directions that were on the can and let it dry 2-4 hours then reapplied a 2nd coat. Then let it dry 2 - 4 hours before I sat on the couch that I treated. I'm very happy with this product and do recommend it. **Q: Can this be used on a fabric designer purse?** A: I would imagine it could as it's for all types of fabric furniture. You could try it on a spot that's not visible, like underneath a strap or something like that. Minor spills cleaned up quickly with Guardsman Fabric Cleaner. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sprays very nice but beware of chemical smell *by M***D on December 30, 2025* I normally use Scotch guard for this purpose. I have a white fabric headboard and decided to go with this instead. The spray is very effective- it is even and did not discolor the fabric. My only complaint is the smell. It has a very strong chemical odor. I made the mistake of spraying it in the evening and my husband ended up sleeping on the couch because he found the smell too overpowering.
