My one niggle is it's not quite wide enough for the jumbo rolls I buy (pictured), meaning the rolls are overhanging the base, and the friction that would otherwise keep the paper from unfurling isn't there. I'd imagine it's wide enough for a standard kitchen roll. An upgraded version would maybe benefit from a second dowel to prevent this, but for a basic model and at £5.99 I really can't fault this. I actually bought a second one for my kitchen (where I make sure to keep it well away from the stove due to the aforementioned unfurling issue!)
