It’s so thick and doesn’t fit in mouth well **Q: how long is the thing boiled?** A: I think I did mine anywhere from 30 sec. to 1 minute. Was a little tight on at first. **Q: Are these great for people with braces?** A: I think they would fit around it. **Q: Would this work for a 5 year old?** A: They are more geared towards an adult. The first one bonded onto itself and would not unbond no matter how many times I tried it again, so that was a water one. The second one didn’t. Elle well at all and won’t even stick to the teeth, no matter how many times you reheat it and try to mold it over and over. So it was a waste of money.
