The body of the Alpha 8 is fully sealed so that an IP66 rating is achieved, making this waterproof quad band and 3G antenna ideal for wet environments such as water metering, sub-terrain-based applications, coastal remote monitoring and many others where pressured water exposure is likely.The Alpha 8 is tuned to quad band GSM / GPRS & 3G / UMTS frequencies, making it a very mainstream performer. Its wide operating frequency band allows for worldwide cellular applications over the quad band GSM / GPRS networks as well as high data transfer rates via 3G/UMTS, supported by a peak gain of 2dBi. The Alpha 8 is Siretta's antenna of choice for GSM / 3G applications that require a discreet and waterproof solution.
