Review: Well made. - Holds the sandpaper firmly. Really robust. Makes light work of sanding by hand. Review: Really useful tool. - This the second one of these sanders I have purchased. They making sanding plasterboard or wood so much easier. The sandpaper is held taught so you get a really even finish and your fingers do not get tired from gripping onto the sandpaper round a block. It is also a bit smaller and lighter than the more traditional metal sandpaper grip so as a woman with smaller hands I find it more comfortable to hold. I only knocked off 1 star for two reasons 1. There is an inate weakness in the design. The metal clamps are screwed into the plastic body. Over time the levering action if the clamp works the screw out if the plastic. At this stage the screw hole is destroyed and no amount of glue will hold it. The first one I purchased only lasted for 2 rooms of intense sanding which was a shame. A metal body or at least a metal plate around the screw holes would fix this. 2. It is smaller so does not take standard size sandpaper off a roll. It has to be cut yo size.
