However the folds inside the zippers will need some breaking in, they did tend to rub on my ankles a little rough at first but after a week of breaking those in, they feel just right. I've bought other name brand tactical boots and these by far are alot cheaper and way more comfortable then the 5.11 boots I've bought before. For a non insulated boot they seem to keep my feet fairly warm which is usual for perfectly waterproof boots although during extreme cold tempratures you'll probably need insulated socks. You probably should avoid wearing these in extreme heat though as I'm sure your feet will sweat like crazy.
